It'll launch into Microsoft's subscription service at launch and is only one of the many confirmed titles to be coming to Game Pass in the next year.Atomic Heart is set in an alternate reality during the 1960's Soviet Russian era, and sees players take control of a KGB officer in an action-RPG where technology has advanced beyond what true history shows of the time period. If watching the trailer above has you excited to play Atomic Heart, you'll need to wait until February to play it when it launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. While it's probably a tall ask, we hope it's something we'll see happen with other deaths throughout the game. It looks like there are quite a few and we absolutely love the idea behind it. For instance, after being demolished by Hedgie's rockets, the game over screen briefly shows a stylised animation of Hedgie blowing a humanoid (presumably the player) into oblivion. We urge you to check out the top of the screen when the character dies, though, as it looks like Mundfish has created custom cartoon animations for each way the character dies. is there anything this murderball can't do? The trailer gives us a better look at how Atomic Heart will play when it launches, such as a few of the weapons we'll have at our disposal, movement, and the electrically-charged skills the protagonist can call upon. Hedgie is the massive mechanical ball you can see in the trailer above tearing across a garden with haste, spinning in the sky on one of its spindly arms, causing its own gravitational field, and firing rockets.
